I have been using QCAD for about a week. Overall I am impressed by the product. I am about half way through the manual.. (I used Autodesk products for 35 yrs).
Question: Is there a way to rotate the Coordinate System? (similar to AutoCAD UCS command)

Yes and no.
QCAD itself doesn't offer this feature in the current version but there is an add-on which could be used:viewtopic.php?f=107&t=5067&hilit=UCS
