Hey gang, my first post here. Coming from 2D AutoCAD background, where I could toggle Autosnap on and off.
I'm a landscape designer, I often have to draw 2D "shrubs" or "trees" usually as blocks, using squiggly lines drawn over a guide circle that will be on a hidden layer, leaving the squiggly shrub shape. I want to be able to draw these over the circles without any snaps at all, the AutoCAD toggle was really handy for this and a lot of other landscape design uses. Is this possible in QCAD?
Windows 10 and I just bought QCAD yesterday, so I guess the Pro version?

You could type "SF", the shortcut for "Free", which turns off all snapping, including grid snap. Is that what you are looking for?

You could use the shortcut "Free" (SF) to turn Autosnap off and (SA) to turn it back on. Maybe you like also to consider the Layer Attribute option "Snappable" to control the snap behavior.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
