Is it possible in Qcad PRO to automatically generate/draw a break/interruption line like this ?

Re: break/interruption line
I'm pretty sure there is no tool to do that, but it's probably something that a script could manage
...or maybe use a block ??

No, not to my knowledge. I think petevick suggestion is the best way to go ...Giuliano69 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 6:52 pmIs it possible in Qcad PRO to automatically generate/draw a break/interruption line like this ?
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: break/interruption line
It seems that, for such an intended use, Qcad would prefer the "free hand tool" instead of such "canonical" sign....
BTW
with the block solution, we could choose as reference the center of the block, and stretch/shrink as needed.
But it requires to calculate the average point between to lines. One more operation...
The "automatic/script" solution, would ask the first point, the second point, and then scale the sign as needed automatically.
If implemented "natively", this second solution should be more useful...

Have a look here -> viewtopic.php?f=30&t=8204 Hopefully that should meet your needs. As noted, I already have thoughts on improving itGiuliano69 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 11:58 pmThe "automatic/script" solution, would ask the first point, the second point, and then scale the sign as needed automatically.
