Learn What Causes Zero Length Objects (Solved)

Post by seasdes » Sat Feb 27, 2021 12:45 pm

I find that I have a lot of zero length objects after drawing for a while. Not sure if it is operator error or a peculiarity of QCAD.
Does trimming lines cause zero length objects?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I think that chamfer set with a zero chamfer distance causes a zero length object. Trim Both does not.

Never noticed ...

I myself have so few problems with zero entities that I couldn't even say what caused them. Most of the time I see them in drawings that have been imported from other CAD programs to QCAD ... :(
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
