Stretch works on RECTANGULAR area ONLY ??

Using Q.cad Pro 3.25.2.0 (3.25.2) + Ubuntu 20.04 + Italian Manual qcad_book_it_3.pdf 2008-2018


On pag 146 of the manual, Stretch function is told to act ONLY on rectangular area.
In fact, when activated (SS) the function requires me to select the 1st & 2nd point fo the rectangle.

IF I select something BEFORE, it STILL continues asking me to select a rectangle !

Under Autocad a VERY common feature was to preselect multiple segments without any rectangle boundary,
Then, asking the stretch function with some items selected, the program will immediately ask the stretching point, NOT the boundary area.

Can this feature be obtained in some other way in Qcad Pro ?

The rectangular area limit should be avoided, because it is only a possible way to get a selection of items , not something related to the geometrical operation...

Correct - but QCAD will only stretch the selected entities - not what else is covered by the range rectangle.

So, is this a new feature NOT documented in the qcad book ?

Is it only a bug of the Italian version, or all the catalogues are missing this information ?

It is in the nature of the thing that the development of QCAD will always be faster than the documentation in the book. This usually has nothing to do with the language version.
