Layers toolbar (SOLVED)
I used QCAD with the layers toolbar open at the top of my workspace for a while and then decided to reposition it to the right hand side. The problem is that it doesn't stay put. Even if I exit the programme with it on the right it still comes back at the top next time I open QCAD. I have tried turning it off alltogether and using the drop-down menu instead but the layers toolbar keeps reappearing at the top of the screen every time I launch the programme. How do I get it to stay off or stay in a new selected position?

Re: Layers toolbar
Hi, Eelie
First: pls read the Forum rules.
Andrew or we can be more specific when we know what OS and what QCAD version.
The Layers List widget should stay put were you left it ...
If the positioning is off we can't do a lot.
I once posted a gentle QCAD.ini reset but it is not certain that it works nowadays.
(deleting the line DockappWindows= .... in the [Appearance] section of QCAD.ini)
Follow these steps to reset your configuration:
https://qcad.org/en/tutorial-resetting- ... figuration
Remember that any customization you made will be lost.
Renaming Qcad.ini is safer but never use the suffix '*.old'
I use '*.deleted', so I can lurk in both after the reset.
Report back how that turned out ...

Re: Layers toolbar
I'm using version 3.24.3 with Windows 10.
Yes, deleting QCAD3.ini and starting again with customisation seems to have done the trick. I put the layers toolbar where I wanted it and it stayed there after closing and reopening QCAD so I don't anticipate wanting to move it again. Thank you.
