Ruler units

Post by inchrail » Mon Jun 22, 2020 10:37 am

Help i'm in a complete mess.... I tried to change a drawing I did from imperial to metric but the measurements were still in imperial. I tried scaling by a factor of 25.4 but the drawing is now so enormous that the dimensions cant be read. They are too small.

The major dimension was 47 inches so I should once I changed from inches to cms I should see a measurement of 119.38cms but the drawing is now massive.

Anyone have any idea what i've done wrong. All i'm trying to do is get the rules at the side of the work area and labels in dimension tools to be readable in metric ?

See:

You have to convert from one drawing unit to another.
Start over with the origonal or puzzel out a rescale after aplying the new format.
