autofit boxed text

Post by binoyte » Thu Jun 18, 2020 1:41 pm

I'm editing a grafcet and I often need to wrap my text in a fitted box.
I'm resizing the box manually, depending of the text length.
How can automate this ?

Block And attributes doesn't fit my needs as the drawing in the block in static even if the content of the attribute is dynamic.

Thanks

Unfortunately, automatic text wrapping is not currently supported in QCAD.

How?
Select the text - launch the "Draw Bounding Box".
BTW: It works with a multiple selection and the "smart use of layer" and a few QCAD tools brings you close to "Automated ....

This example was done in less than 30 seconds.
