Gear plug in

Post by RDudman » Wed Jun 10, 2020 2:47 pm

I am interested in making wooden and cardboard gears for clocks. I use the Cricut Maker to cut out the items but the app is not able to generate what I need. The app allows SVG files as input and that is why I purchased QCad Professional. Is a plug-in or method for QCad that allows me to design simple gears?

Thank you,
Richard

You can find a simple gear generator part library item under View > Library Browser > default > Mechanics > Gears:

Third-party gear generators are also available (most can export to DXF).
