I have read the instructions on how to make a continuous dimension (Continue DC), but cannot get it to work. What am I missing?

DC and DB needs a Base dimension (existing dimension) to start with.
Example with a Horizontal Base Dimension:
Create a Horizontal Dimension with DH,
Launch the Continue (DC) tool,
click the Horizontal Base Dimension on the right (in this case) extension line [1],
click then the remaining measurement points [2, 3, 4]
Done!
