flange.dxf

Post by Gerardf » Thu Oct 10, 2019 11:11 pm

Hi All,

I note this very nice dwg is much better than my isometric attempts.

My isometric drawings are really a wire-frame presentation quite unlike the isometric view in flange.dxf.

Can someone advise further steps to moving from the wire-frame kind of thing to something more realistic?

Thanks

That is manually done - entity by entity. Everything what is normally invisible (behind something else) needs to go away. You can use for that task a bunch of QCAD tools like "Break out", "Divide", "Trim", "Delete" etc.

Yes, it is a Sisyphus task but the good thing is you will learn a lot about those "Modify" tools.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
