Snap on 45 degree points

Is there a way to snap on the 45 degree points around a circle?
If I create a line that I want to go from the 225 degree point to the 45 degree point on a circle for instance. Or I have an Instrument with a 3.5" bolt circle diameter and I want to place screw holes on the 45 degree points on that circle.
I see the reference SR snap for 0, 90,180, 270. Is there something similar for 45 degree points or a setting for that snap tool?

No. There are only snaps to the Circle references what means every 90 degree.

If I create a line that I want to go from the 225 degree point to the 45 degree point on a circle for instance.

Given circle:
Launch the "Line from Angle" tool,
Option infinite line, Angle 45 degree,
snap this line to the center of the circle,
launch the "Auto Trim" tool and click the line inside the circle.

Or I have an Instrument with a 3.5" bolt circle diameter and I want to place screw holes on the 45 degree points on that circle.

Drew the 3.5" circle, place the first screw hole precisely on that circle and rotate (copy) the screw hole around the center of the 3.5" circle.

Hi guys,

My two cents worth. If you have multiple circles to draw the lines in, it might be slightly quicker to use the 'Centerline Cross' tool.
Select 'Misc->Draw->Centerline Cross', shortcut 'CS'.

Set X to 100, Y to 0 and the third box to 'Percent'. The X setting is the size of the horizontal line, and Y the size of the vertical line. This will draw only one line because Y is 0. Set the angle to the appropriate value.

You can change the angle at any time. For example in the above figure, I set the angle to 0 and then selected the first circle, then I set the angle to 45 and selected the second circle, and so on. Notice that using 225 degrees produces the same result as 45 degrees.
