Even after trying various settings, the BMP images aren't clear or high-resolution as expected

Not that I have experience with that ...

-antialiasing .... Enable antialiasing >> Less jagged lines when slanted ... Staircases
-quality=Q ...... Set the image quality / compression >> When using a image format other than BMP or TIFF
-resolution=R ... Set rendering resolution to R >> With for example 10 you get 10 pixels per drawing unit.
OR
-width=W ....... Set bitmap width to W (in pixels)
-height=H ....... Set bitmap height to H (in pixels) >> Will automatically compute resolution based on the extend of the window.

Remind that the output is limited to width*height = 536870911 pixels.
For a large drawings it might be necessary to increase the Lineweight of the art to export.
Unsure if Screen-based Linetypes or not influence the result ...
