Cannot find "moving reference points" in the program

Post by ptgrey » Wed Feb 14, 2024 4:11 am

Qcad version 3.29.4; Op system is Windows 11. on a laptop.
On Page 134, there is a Table 10.2 which shows various selections of Moving Reference Points. However, I cannot find where these are selected in the program.
Can you help?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,
to make Reference Points visible it needs a selection of the entity. Every method of selection will do it. In your excample just click the entity with one left mouse click.
Now you will see all reference points of the entity. All in blue except one in red. The red one indicates the start point of the entity. Red and blue behave identical for a move.
To move a reference point hover the mouse over such a point, click and hold the left mouse button and drack the point. Release the mouse button and the point will stick to the mouse pointer. Click with a left mouse click the new position for that point/entity. Done!
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
