Polygon area (IR) not using 'Add measurement to drawing' stays active after 'Done' with an R-click ... The tool is still running.
The last measurement remains displayed until you do something else.
It would be rather annoying if the final measurement would disappear instantaneously ...

One can start over with indicating another polygon or one could terminate the tool with 'Cancel' ... An extra R-click.
Or one can also suspend the tool by for example starting LI: Line from 2 points and the measurement will be cleared temporarily ...
... Until you terminate the LI tool.

All active tools can be closed at any state with: Esc, Escape, ... or with the keyboard shortcut QQ.
For the current functions of the mouse buttons see near the mouse icon at the bottom, in the middle of the Status Bar.

Many tools share an Options Toolbar usually just above the drawing panel.
If you opt for 'Add measurement to drawing' then it will add a polygon (=polyline entity) and the measurement as a text entity.
And again, after creating those entities the tool remains active until closed, this time without previewing the former measurement.
Logical because that is already preserved in a text entity.

I see 3 text references that I suspect to be measurements (Text height = 250):
- 384.102 = Enclosed area of the red line entities
- Twice the value 257.074 (Black .. white = 426.346577)
But I can't find the related polylines that IR would create.

Remark that there is a null-length polyline in the example drawing at (51.32517922, 21.6069271).

CVH
