QCad 3.28.1.0
macOS BigSur
I have drawn a black square (polyline, hatch solid from select), gave it the color "black". (still drawn white on the canvas, but that might be
obvious since black on black background is not so useful).
Then I gave the text ath color attribute "white".
In the preview on the paper the black square appears in black, but the text is not visible. I change the drawing order in the drawing for that layer (the black square) to bring it to the background, but in the preview the text is still covered by the black square.
When I hover over the text with the cursor, it flashes up.

Re: printing white text on black
I had that switched on (Prevent white on white...), but Disable for Printing wasn't ticked. Did that but no change. Will look into the tutorial whether I can find sth.andrew wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 9:24 amUncheck:

Re: printing white text on black
Thanks for the drawing. Did you use as color mode for printing the "Black/White Mode'?

Re: printing white text on black
Yes, B/W Mode is chosen (selected). BTW, under what circumstances is it possible to use the "hand"-symbol to move the paper area under the drawing?
At the moment this is locked but I remember to have been able to position the drawing relative to the paper.
EDIT: solved! Using "Full Color Mode" in the print menu makes white letters appear over black square.
