QCAD 3.26.1.0 (3.26.1)
macOS 11.2.3
On macOS, each time the dwg2bmp script is run, a QCAD icon is created in the dock. Only the last two generated icons remain in the dock.
I guess it would make sense that the QCAD icon is removed from the dock when the script ends.

Re: QCAD icon in macOS dock with dwg2bmp script
I cannot reproduce this behaviour here. The icon appears in the dock and then disappears when dwg2bmp has finished. If QCAD is in the dock (Keep in dock), the icon bounces briefly, then stops to bounce.
Can you provide more information such as a screenshot?
Also, does this happen if you run dwg2bmp with the -h flag only (to show usage)?

Re: QCAD icon in macOS dock with dwg2bmp script
OK, so I found out that it is in fact the normal behaviour of the dock in macOS.
If the option in “System preferences/Dock/Show recent applications in Dock” is checked, then the last 3 used items are shown.
