“Stacked” Fraction option

Post by ryancousins » Mon Feb 15, 2021 4:36 am

It would be great if there was an option to have fractions appear vertically stacked, both via the text tool and as the output of dimensions. I am thinking about making some custom formatted fractions and making them into library items but this obviously isn’t an ideal solution, especially for dimensions since I’d have to delete the dynamic text output and place my block in manually, thereby breaking the dynamic nature of the dimension.

I don't use imperial but I had a look , it doesn't look promising tried 12.5inch the only option in settings is fractional but they are not stacked .
It displays 12 1/2 , I see where you're coming from , it's quite hard to distinguish but stacked would be nicer :) 12 ½ like this would even be ok..
There are Alt+[number] ways to display symbols, but like you say you loose the association with the dimension if you happen to stretch it...

Maybe put in a feature request I'm sure others would like to see this as well..

Cheers
