Show Z-Coordinate

Post by steve2 » Sat Jan 16, 2021 2:26 pm

Hello,

when using "Info > Position" it would be great to also show the z-coordinate.
This option could be integrated in the preferences dialog or the application preferences dialog.

Regards
Stefan

Note also that a 2D position in the X/Y planne does not have a single Z-coordinate. In terms of drawing elements, there could be any number of Z coordinates in the drawing at any X/Y position.

@Husky:
The Z-value in the Property Editor is only shown when an object is selected. So always selecting objects slows down the workflow.
@andrew:
I mainly need the info regarding to single points which have an additional Z-coordinate (e.g. working with Lidar data).

Nevertheless, thank you for the quick reply. Maybe I'll try to make a script or plugin.
