Thanks to check

What version have you running?

Double-clicked on the link of your dxf file.
First got this:
  • Opening drawing: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\5C1XQV8Y\sink.dxf...
    Recovering file: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\5C1XQV8Y\sink.dxf...
    Recovery complete

Drawing loaded successfully: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\5C1XQV8Y\sink.dxf
Format: R24 (2010) DXF Drawing (OpenDesign) (*.dxf)
I didn't trust that one, so I downloaded the file for safety.

After a QCAD reboot I get the same warning and both times it looks like this one:

Doesn't look OK at my side ...

Yet another wipe and reinstall is lurking already. :?

Still very nice of you that you tested it. :P

Wondering...

Does anyone get the same errors as me with the file that TSG-Thomas posted?

Hi CVH,

it looks broken on my system too.

For whatever reason - not important for me but a bit strange that there are users where it looks ok.

I have to say, I'm working with QCAD 3.25.2.2 under macOS.
Maybe it's different. It wouldn't be the first time.

It gets even better.
When I call the library "Archtecture" under Windows, a message "Recovering file: C: / Program Files ..." appears and the recovered sink.dwg is displayed incorrectly.
Everything works fine under macOS. No discovery, no misrepresentation.

It looks correct here on:
- Win32, regular and legacy (XP)
- Win64
- QCAD 3.25.2.2 as well as QCAD 3.25.2.1

I did notice that the file was created using an older version of dxflib. This could be an OpenDesign bug or inconsistency if certain information is missing in the file. I've rewritten the file using OpenDesign and a newer dxflib and attached it. Perhaps you can test these on your systems.

Both work fine here under macOS AND Windows 10.

Confirmed
No errors while loading, od=R27, lib=R15, both look OK.
