QCAD Pro is fine software

Often you will see it said the such-and-so product is excellent, for the money. I've worked with QCAD-Pro in its non-trial version now for a couple of weeks and can say this software stands up to the best and is worth far more than its price.

Yes, I've hit a couple of performance snags, and have been helped out greatly by folks on the troubleshooting forum. But things are pretty smooth now.

I auditioned a number of CAD packages in trial modes as I looked for a replacement to TurboCAD Mac Designer (we just never got along). Among them were HighDesign, FreeCAD, LibreCAD, and MacDraft Pro. QCAD Pro won over all of them. The price just makes it that much sweeter.
