A scribble line drawn:
The suggestion is for that to be a first class object that can be selected in a single click
like a circle or spline can be.
I am aware that within the DXF format that may require some QCAD specify metadata.
Ends up a zillion little segments, making it hard to select, modify, delete or whatever.Suggestion: make "Freehand line" aka LF scribble, a first class object

First class object? Sounds fancy but at the end of the day it would still be an ordinary polyline, correct?
You can already convert the freehand line with one click to a polyline. According to your excample screenshot isolate all freehand lines on a designated layer and use the tool Polyline from Segments (OG). No selection of zillion little elements required ...

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

A double click near a freehand segment should select all connected.
Depending the situation that might select more than the freehand art, question of elimination from the selection.
Then OC converts that to a polyline what can be simplified with OS.
For your usage I would use PL including arc segments by the Options Toolbar.
Restrictions on angles and distances may come in handy.
