[solved] 100 runs limitation to community

Post by ssm2017 » Sat Nov 25, 2023 9:07 pm

hello,
i was trying qcad to build opensource scripts for stage managers in qcad.
using the trial version limited to 15 minutes was not an issue to me.
now, i have not seen that there is a 100 runs limitation.
i would not actually buy a licence for just writing scripts addressed to other people.
so i would like to go on my job using the "community" edition but i am not able to switch to it using the "remove" button in the trial panel because the program is closing without the ability to switch to this edition.

is there a way to add a "switch to community edition" button to the panel saying that the 100 runs limitation is reached ?

Hi ssm2017 - welcome to the Qcad forum.

To convert from Trial to the Community edition just delete the trial Add-ons: No GUI nessesery:

https://www.qcad.org/rsforum/viewtopic. ... 668#p17085

The CE has no run limitations.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
If a thread is considered as "solved" please change the title of the first post to "[solved] Title..."

ssm2017,

I can only add that for the small fee of a licence you get a huge return on investment.
And you contribute a little in keeping QCAD up to date and sponsor for future enhancements.

The choice is fully up to you.

Remind to post your topics on the CE forum: https://www.qcad.org/rsforum/viewforum.php?f=76

Regards,
CVH
