Being a newbie using QCAD Pro 3.28.1.0 I was not yet familiar with locking and unlocking layers. When I discovered I could not select or draw on a couple of layers I was at a loss as to what was wrong. My girlfriend, who is not red/green color blind, spotted immediately that these layers were locked by their red color. I don't know if I ever would have discovered this. I suggest that a better choice of icons would be a locked padlock for the locked state, and an open unlocked padlock for the unlocked state. Adding a position changing icon to the color change would enhance the signal for the substantial number of us (mostly) males (at 1 in 12) who suffer the most common form of color blindness.
Thanks,
SteveS

Re: Layer lock icon change
SteveS,
You are very right that an open/closed padlock in combination with the color red would be a better choice.
These are usually svg images so I don't think that that is a major hurdle.
We can find the CE icons here: https://github.com/qcad/qcad/tree/1396d ... /LayerList
Seemingly a combination of visible/hidden and locked/unlocked.
The pro version of the Layer List and its icons is not open source.
I see a problem in that an unlocked padlock does not occupy the same squared area as a closed one.
Still, I would file a feature request here: https://www.ribbonsoft.com/bugtracker/
You need a separate account there or create a new one.
