Hi,
I am new to Linux and QCAD. reading the help files it states that QCAD by default saves in 2013 DWG or DXF format, but it does not. I did opt out of the two trial add ons because I am using it on a trial basis, to see if it will fulfill my needs. I swear that before canceling these trial add ons I test opened a AutoCAD LT 2013 file and after I could not. Do you force people to purchase to look and newer than 2000 file available in the free version? How can I get 2013 functionality back? DO I need to uninstall and reinstall?
Thank you for all of your time and efforts.
Andrew Provost

To try out QCAD Professional, please do NOT remove the QCAD Professional add-on.andrew.provost wrote:I did opt out of the two trial add ons because I am using it on a trial basis, to see if it will fulfill my needs.
Removing the QCAD Professional add-on leaves you with the free QCAD Community Edition which indeed only supports DXF R15 (see also http://www.qcad.org/en/qcad-documentation/qcad-features).
To try QCAD Professional, please download and install one of the packages at:
http://www.qcad.org/en/qcad-downloads-trial
You can then try QCAD Professional without any restrictions other than the time limit.
