@ Denis GAILLARD, I recommend to stick to KISS. (Google the acronym :wink:) Keep the dxf and the image in the same folder and QCAD will always find and load it. Excample maschine 1: G:/Doc....../projectxyz/ETAGE1.dxf G:/Doc....../projectxyz/ETAGE1 cropped.tif Moved/copied to maschine 2: C:/Doc.........

On the import side, inserting dozens of library block definitions at once would also be very useful

I'm right now not on my PC (can't double check it) but I think that is already possible. Menu / Import ... multible block selection ... Ok.

What's about moving the text dialogue to the top of the monitor or reducing the vertical hight with the mouse pointer?

Maybe I could draw all my current blocks in one drawing then copy and paste all together into my older drawings? But I have also added some new layers within these current blocks. Common praxis would be just to use the same layers for the new entities ... ... but maybe you worked with fixed attributes.
