[solved] Title Block Attributes Lost
Hello Forum: My title block with attributes was working fine. But I had to make a change in it. So I exploded it, made the change and created the block again using the same name. My attributes are visible. But when I try to synchronize them, they stay frozen in the block and can't be accessed. What ...

Re: Lineweight
That's the ticket, Andrew. Thank you.
The problem was that I was using Lines instead of Polylines.

Re: Lineweight
This is a block created with another CAD program. It's constructed using thick lines. I need to be able to do this in QCAD.

Re: Lineweight
I've tried every way I know to make the heavier lines appear thicker, but I just can't make that happen.

[solved] Lineweight

But I cant get thick lines when i use it. Can anyone tell me how to do this? The first pic shows te new layer ...

Lineweight
In my drawing, I'd like for some lines to be thicker than others. I have several layers and have changed all of their lineweights except for the lineweight in the default layer 0. So if setting the lineweights in the layer list won't change the line thickness when I draw, then what will? Or is this ...

Re: Coordinate System
Husky:
Thanks for the response.
I now see where to make the changes. Since I'm in the US, most of what I'll be doing will be in feet and inches. And I see I have four other options to choose from, so I'll pay around with them and see what I come up with for US standard measure.
Thanks again.

Coordinate System
Hello Forum: I'm new to drafting, so my terminology won't be that of a seasoned veteran. My apologies for that. Yesterday I purchased a license for the newest QCAD Professional. Watched some tutorials and everything's been going well. My sister, who's encouraging me to learn drafting, sent me a few ...
