Then use a script to place a drawing / block or so on a positton. basically imagine a chess board with all the squares mixed up. I want some hatched and some blank. Maybe. So disable DRAFT-MODE, the button above (the little red pencil). But maybe simple remove the "qcad.ini" file. This should reset all settings to default. (I think also draft mode disabled by default.) So check this: 1. Quit QCad. 2. Remove qcad.ini 3. Restart QCad 4. A new qcad.ini should be t...

Also müsste es so au...

Wenn ich die Beschreibung richtig verstehe, ne, das geht nicht. Es gibt keine "abgeborchenen" bzw. "unterbrochenen" Masslinien. Ich nehme an, sie meinen etwas in der Art: <-----/-------/---------> Layer 1: <-----/ Layer 2: /-------/ Layer 3: /---------> Wenn Sie gute Gründe für eine solche Einrichtu...

I just tried this out. It works. What you describe is typically if you choose a a high value for scale. So try a low value there, let say, "Scale: 0.1". It its really a BUG, then 1000 Linux Users around the world would report it. So... we can say that there is hope that it works also for you. So it ...

Ah, now I understand it... yes, then it can be a problem for you. Because you use a keyboard different of mine. (On my Keyboard ESC is clearly separted from F1, so I had no chance to get that "feeling" type F1 instead of ESC.) As far as I know, it is not possible to reassign keys. a) But here a solu...

Re: How to I specify functions and constants in Qcad?
Note: QCad Professional have a nice built in scripting language, sure you can program such functions there.
Take a look here how it works:

More on scripting:

But note: QCad is not Matlab!

If you quit an user application with a surrender windows management or system - this can be dangerous. Basically, you have to quit every application in the windowing system itself first, then quit the underlaying system. So while you working, it is save to press CTRL + s (save) at any time you think...

So, dont press F1 any more. ;-) Strange behavior... Read the Help then in a separate Webbrowser. Not within QCad. Maybe this is the problem. There is a assistant(.exe) which is in fact a web browser. Check if this works separately. An other known problem and solution: If assistant.exe crashes on Win...
