QCAD can't determine the Target point because the Coordinate dialog is empty for X.
In this case please give QCAD a 0 for the X direction and it will work as expected.

I was under the impression that you don't have the options below "Number of Copies".

However - something doesn't add up. May I ask you again for an example drawing?

None of the 10 QCAD Arc tools are working for that scenario? I doubt that but in the case that you actually need to use a circle then you could cut it (Divide tools) at the intersections.
Maybe you can post an example drawing to see the full picture?

I have just told it to put the copies at a reference pitch of -2.54mm, so what is the point of the target? The Coordinate information is the Target Point - but it needs do be confirmed. In other programs, you have the array function (Autosketch, Solidworks) that knows that the original is the start...

Make sure your 4 line rectangle library part is created (or converted) as a polyline. Then use the "Offset with distance" tool within the "Offset whole polyline" mode.

To bridge the time until the next stable update comes out please download the Snapshot release (3.21.3.15) in your QCAD Shop.

Can I draw one version on a layer, then turn off that layer and draw the other version on another layer ? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm - könnte es sein das Dein Messsystem auf Imperial und nicht auf Metrisch eingestellt ist? Natürlich nur wenn Du in Metrisch zeichnest ....

Könntest Du eine Beispiel Zeichnung posten die dieses Problem bei Dir zeigt? Danke.
