Re: Can circles round points be removed
This is all what you need right now: - Select all points (e.g. using View > Selection Filter) - Misc > Information > Store Positions - Draw > Circle > Center, Radius - Change radius in options toolbar to desired radius - Misc > Information > Use Positions After that terminate the tools with ESC. Tha...

Re: Can circles round points be removed
Make sure that your active layer is "Holes_Wire" and it will work with Andrew's description like a charm.

Re: Dimension abberation mystery.
However, when I draw in another dimension, it defaults back to the same situation. I have to keep changing the linear factor back to 1. Why is that? When you launch a dim tool keep an eye on the dim option bar. On the right side is the possibility to choose a scale (Linear Factor) for the dim. In y...

Re: Dimension abberation mystery.
Please check the "Linear Factor" for each dim within the Property Editor. They are identical?

Re: How to define the length of a Polygon side
Something is different in that drawing and I need to see the dxf/dwg (not a screenshot!) to help effective. If that drawing is confidential PM is also fine.
How to attache a dxf / dwg drawing to a post:

Hi,
following exactly your description - I can't reproduce it. Works like a charm. Could you post an example please. Thanks.

Bei den Einstellungen versuche ich dauernt die EInstellungen für neue Zeichnungen (Bemaßung) zu ändern, aber es ändert sich nichts. Der Text ist MINI..... Re: How would you do : Twisted wires
But still, i do not understand the how, where and the why of the «hatch» tool here ? The hatch is used to be flexible in shape and size. Basically I drew the outline of a twisted wire on layer 0 and filled it with a solid hatch. The blue hatch is on layer blue / Line weight 0, the red hatch is on l...

Re: Why did this drawing suddenly bring QCAD to its knees?
I'm just a QCAD putzer and I was intrigued by Husky's twisted wire drawing ... Here we go .... understood .... my fault .......   I checked your drawing on my Win10 and I can't reproduce a crash. Then I bloated it with many copies .... Re: How would you do : Twisted wires
I use the Spline (Fit Points) (SL) tools to make one, then use the Mirror (MI) tool to make the other one. Then using the Property Editor (GP) to change the size of the lines and their colors. Hello, I can't imagine that that looks twisted .... However I don't think it makes sense to design a "free...

Re: Can't join polylines
That is what I would call a folded polyline and you are trying to join them at a corner which has 4 end lines. Screenshot from an EXTREM  zoom! Husky-2019.03.05-02.png A simple comparison between a roughly done dimensioning and the real lengths shows the folded effect. Husky-2019.03.05-01.png...
