Re: Snapshot issue for 3.23.06: Dimension text not showing in Layouts
2. On an other note - I'm confused by your used drawing values regarding dim's (has nothing to do with the bug!) Why is the dim Text height size 15 cm? What should be the printed size? Standard would be 0.35 cm on paper ... The 15 cm value worked well when working in the Model space. It has a ok si...

Re: Snapshot issue for 3.23.06: Dimension text not showing in Layouts
After digging around I found that if I set the 'Size scale factor' to 100 the dimensions are rendered again in the Layout but the values are scaled by 100. (Note that my Viewport scale is 0.01 in the Layout block) https://i.imgur.com/2JTYp5s.png https://i.imgur.com/G3FBqO5.png .. And then the dimens...

[solved] Snapshot issue for 3.23.06: Dimension text not showing in Layouts
Hi, I'm seeing the following issue in 3.23.06: Dimensions texts are not showing in layouts. Repro: I opened a dxf file in 3.23.06 (last saved from 3.23.0) Model (looks like this both in 3.23.0 and 3.23.06): https://i.imgur.com/m8TdTcV.png 3.23.0 (showing correctly when double clicking the Layout blo...

Re: How to print multiple Layout blocks to one PDF file
Andrew,
It works perfectly. I'm now able to print different pdf's from the same dxf file, with blocks in the order I want. Christmas came early this year.
Thank you for implementing this.
Cheers,
Mads

Re: How to print multiple Layout blocks to one PDF file
Hi Andrew Thinking more about this problem I would prefer that when specifying a comma separated list of blocks for the command line then that explicit ordering would be used when printing. This would support having multiple 'printing sets'. E.g from the same drawing (dxf file) I sometimes need to p...

Re: How to print multiple Layout blocks to one PDF file
Correct, since "*Paper_SpaceXXX" is the block name of those layout blocks. Is there a way for me to change the numbering of the Paper_Space after they are created? This behaviour might change in a future version to sort based on the layout name for layouts. Or perhaps use the layout order since lay...

Re: How to print multiple Layout blocks to one PDF file
Blocks are sorted by name alphanumerically (see natural sort order ). The order of names in the -block parameter is irrelevant. Note that the string passed to the -block argument may contain regular expressions in which case the argument could not be used to define the order. Thanks. This design ma...

Re: How to print multiple Layout blocks to one PDF file
Hi Andrew,
What controls the order of the blocks written to the pdf when using dwg2pdf? It seem that the order specified in block="Layout1,Layout2,Layout3,SomeLayout4" gives the same result as block="Layout1,SomeLayout4,Layout2,Layout3"?

Re: How to print multiple Layout blocks to one PDF file
Here's an example of a 3-page PDF export from Linux command line: Hi Doug, Thanks. That is great info as well! That is actually what I need since the the Multipage setup is too slow to work with when having lots of pages. I created this .bat file (I'm on Windows) that does exactly what I need: I ca...

Re: How to print multiple Layout blocks to one PDF file
The multipage feature is intended to print large drawings 1:1 on multiple pages to be stuck together as a poster. There is no "before" or "after" when adding pages. Adding more pages vertically will indeed expand the available paper space toward the top (Y+) which you might perceive as "before", bu...

Re: How to print multiple Layout blocks to one PDF file
Yes that works for me. But it has some problems when I added more pages later. I started out creating 1 column and 3 rows. Copy pasted my viewports and page headers. This worked well. I could now print to one file. But then I wanted to add 2 extra pages for additional drawings. But the 2 extra pages...
