Re: Modify simple polyline rectangles

Make more use of temporary construction lines, and best on an seperate layer.
Even some horizontal an vertical construction lines can help you a lot in drawing something where you want and how you want it.

Re: Simple Script

And further, it is in Misc.js that EAction.js is included (also not on my system)

Re: Modify simple polyline rectangles

If you have a desired target point you could use Stretch too.
Or you could simply pick the vertex and place it where you want it and resticted Horz. or Vert. too.

Simple Script

Still strugling with simple change to ExDumpPolyline.js I found the mirroring (arg(-v.y)) and the orientation change inappropriate, undocumented and misleading as an example. All questions where finally cleared out by your reply on https://www.qcad.org/rsforum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5566 on May 17, 201...

Re: Exploding Splines

Hint
Keep a copy off your spline(-s) to revert to.
There ain't no easy way back from polys to splines exept undoing all the changes you made in between.
nor after closing.

Re: General Coordinate format not used

Andrew, The Application Prefs / General: Coordinate Settings are as they are set so after the day I first installed QCAD. I can remember it suited me that I could change these to locally. Tried changing them, saved and reloaded QCAD a couple times before I took the screenshot. I usually try a buch o...

General Coordinate format not used

About the Aplication Prefs / General: Coordinate Settings Never noticed but the QCAD 3.20.1 UI does not format the number as set in the prefs. See pic settings and UI lower left screen. Several posts and Bug reports but not that actual. And that scrips do not reflect this unless they use string form...

Re: Skewing and the way to it.

OFF-TOPIC Andrew, and to anybody else, feel free to enlighten me. I am trying hard but I feel lost in the woods. I wander in the EMCA script reference and the QCAD project reference for days now. In the above script: ( Please interrupt me where I fail ) var v = entity.getVertexAt(k) will set the va...
