But when I tried to use QCAD, the font was something wrong.
Please be more precisely with the issue description. If possible attach the dwg in question.

Basic question: Have both programs access to the same set of fonts?

Re: Stuck in Trial mode

Hi Atbc1 - welcome to the QCAD forum. I purchased the windows professional version, received my confirmation email, downloaded through the link in the email and QCAD shuts down like clockwork like im using a trial version. Windows 10 downloaded the 32bit installer on 1/4/2020. How do I fix this issu...

Re: Leader arrow vanishing

Ok, now we're on the same page ... Every dimension type has this scale factor. Just using it. Another use would be several text size in dims on one drawing... That is the idea behind the scale factor ... What happens is that the arrow flag is killed while saving to dxf. And this if an arrow with sca...

Re: Leader arrow vanishing

Bending nothing... In my opinion - yes you did! Here the Arrow is rendered correct being 0.03 time 2.5 equals 0.075 long. Questions: 1. If you need an arrow size witch has to be 0.075 long why you don't just put the size of 0.075 into the Dimension Settings / Arrow Size? 2. What for is this scaled ...

Sorry, your approach and explanation makes no sense to me.

Problem is: it doesn't stay set to on when saving it.
If you really need to bend the tools over the common use limit then you can explode the leader and it will stay even when you save it.

Re: Leader arrow vanishing

The leader is scaled. Scale = 0.03 Select, set Arrow on, save, revert. ... arrow gone. e_surprised The poor leader doesn't know what to do with your settings ... Your leader leg for the arrow is 0.282843 in length. Your leader setting below Drawing Preferences / Dimension Settings says the Arrow siz...

[solved] dxf to svg export

Hi,

I've a dxf icon and need to export it to svg. The result looks ....... bad. What kind of entities can I use in the dxf to get a proper svg export? Or is it just a setting question?

Re: Library Drawing are all skewed???

Any tips on where to start would be great. When you insert a Library item (or crankshaft  ) an option bar will pop with a few customizable insert option. Check the settings first for correct rotation etc. Husky-2019.12.30-02.png If the option bar doesn't pops up make sure it is activated belo...

Re: Hatching - Beginners Problems

I've drawn a very simple elevation which I've attached, I'd be grateful if someone could confirm my logic is correct. You get closer and closer to this "2D CAD thing" ....   I changed the drawing to "my way" of CAD drawing organization. That doesn't means that is the only correct wa...

Re: Hatching - Beginners Problems

Hi, Many roads lead to Rome ... Just concentrated on the chimney: I would avoid to work with multiple hatches for the same area which are then controlled by "Bring to Front" or "Send to Back" hierarchy tools. Yes, it is possible in QCAD but is in my opinion always a less-than-ideal solution f...

3 polygons are selected but only 2 want to offset.
Only 2? Is that the preview or the final result of the use of the Offset tool? Please post the 3 polygon example. Thanks.

Re: Schraffur-Typ Solid

Nichtsd...
