Re: Dimensions causes QCAD slow panning.

Hello, I tested your drawing on a Win10, 8GB RAM and a slower processor. Long story short - handling speed works like a charm. I tested the mentioned "Foundation DIMS" settings - zoom/pan etc is processed in a fraction of a second. To go even further - I made all layer visible, thaw and unlo...

Re: qcad mm in solidworks = inch

Thanks for the drawings. I can't test it with Solidworks but the examples open in all other application with a mm unit. I assume your SW has an import option what says open in inch. I changed for a test the dxf format to R27. I'm not really optimistic that it will change anything but see what happen...

Re: qcad mm in solidworks = inch

Please attache the QCAD drawing or an example drawing what shows the same issue to this thread. It will make an investigation easier to see what is going on. Thanks.

In the attached file (iso_gestrichelt.dxf) there is one ISO dash line of 1mm weight. The line is 14.7cm long (10x1.2cm dashes + 9x0.3cm distances between the dashes).
Your drawing unit is set to Meter what means the line is 14.7 Meter long. Is that done on purpose?

IMHO TTF and OTF subset are not supported.
Note: QCAD supports all installed system fonts (TTF, OTF, ...) available for text entities.

Is there some trick I have missed that would let me use those other variants?
I assume "Use reduced selection of fonts" is activated - please check the setting below:

Re: How to Troubleshoot Non-Closed Polylines?

It's still hard for me to believe you produce something that is that small that Mil is an adequate unit. Except Watch parts or so but I'm sure you have your reasons for that ... I design mmW circuits. I've also have designed RFIC circuits - my large inductors were 300 to 400nm in diameter. Yes, nan...

Re: Making a selection horizontally equidistant and then aligning them vertically

How can I make a selection equidistant ... Using Align in a clever way with achors, much can be done. The Align tool has no setting to distribute a selection evenly. Problem is, the objects are already exist in the drawing in an unordered fashion and I would like to distribute/align them. Are the o...

Re: Votes Please DXF Tile Option added to the Hatch Command

John, I don't know what exactly you are looking for in your field of application and my example is maybe an overkill but that is the problem - you have to serve a big field of user. And I'm sure there are a lot of user out there who will do the same overkill like me ... I don't say you shouldn't try...

Re: Votes Please DXF Tile Option added to the Hatch Command

Hi, Could we Vote on this for future releases... Sure - but I don't think it will change anything .... Howsoever - I would vote "no". e_surprised Here are the reasons ... 1. It makes sense to stick to dxf/dwg standards. A dxf hatch isn't standard ... 2. QCAD isn't currently good enough in handling b...

Vous insérez avec une valeur de mise à l'échelle non valide - essayez 1 pour l'insérer 1:1
