Re: Line2PEx - An improved line command?

Hi, my QCAD is adjusted for Decimal Points as dot instead of comma. Application Preferences, General, Coordinate Format, Decimal Point: Dot '.'(Default) Nevertheless the new line tool ignores my settings and works only with comma. Re: Line2PEx - An improved line command?

So I changed two files:- Line2PEx.js and Line2PEx.ui. Hi riverbuoy, thanks for the new files - I will test them for me! My first impression was .... a kind of tight feeling  Could you provide a couple more pixel in the hight of the bar? This occurs on Win XP/32 Husky-2014.02.02-01.png It wasn'...

Re: Line2PEx - An improved line command?

Thinking about this, I looked at the codes that are being used and keys that can be accessed on the keyboard without having to use the shift key. Please - consider how many countries around the world have to use the shift key to reach the "/"! ... uni-regensburg.de/EDV/Misc/KeyBoards/ (@Andrew: Ple...

Re: New Guy, with some questions.

Thanks for the dxf. Yep - it works as I already told you: "OQ works only on polylines. If your dxf sink isn't drawn with polylines try to select the lines - use the OG tool (create Polylines from lines) and click one of the lines which is already selected. After that - try the Offset tool OQ" Okay, ...

Re: New Guy, with some questions.

Hello M.Eggert - welcome in the Forum! I also have tried the Offset OQ tool but this is not working at all. OQ works only on polylines. If your dxf sink isn't drawn with polylines try to select the lines - use the OG tool (create Polylines from lines) and click one of the lines which is already sele...

Re: PDF to DXF/DWG converter ....

Hi Clive - it works better than I thought with Inkscape. Thanks for the hint.

You have just to open the PDF in Inkscape and save it then as a dxf. Open it in QCAD - check the scale - if necessary fix it - done!

Thank you!

Hi Terry, Uh. An idea just ocurred to me, probably from viewing http://www.qcad.org/rsforum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=1992 That's a good start! I should create some layers purely for use within a block, but no drawing should otherwise go there - Outline, Center, Hidden etc, while other layers migh...
