The center of the 3d view seems to be the location of the dot if I zoom in enough, could we just get a big x from corner or something. Maybe a dumb idea anyway I will go away now.

I really can't see it. Just borrowed a 40in2k TV and can see it if I zoom the 3d in a lot but then I can't tell where I am on the screen. I didn't find anything in the forum or help.
