Hi All Well I have 2 Hatch Patterns Here, 1 I would use wisely , it's a bit of a CPU-KILLER ;) It was a request so I thought I would share with all, it might have it's uses for small hatch areas where you want to show a swirl pattern like the swirl steel effect... Hi Andrew

I think I've found the problem, no idea why this box was empty though... :?
I've set back to "Render text as text", and selected the font from dropdown
box I can now zoom in and out without the disappearing text thing happening ;)

Hi All

Here is a set of 2 hatch Patterns, MESH-02A & MESH-02B
It''s supposed to resemble expanded mesh...
If you find the hatches scattering at distances simply
set the hatch Origin to the object your hatching Origin

Hi Andrew I'll look into it... the card i bought a few years ago now, but works fine with Inventor 2020 3d assemblies over 1000 parts.. FYI the card is NVIDIA Quadro K2000 the drivers are up to date.. I'm happy with the settings for now and there doesn't appear to be any lag, but if it does I'll cha...

Hi Andrew I tried everything you said above and the one that worked was changing Render text as text to Render text as paths ... The font I use is one I purchased in a set of 1000 "Arial Rounded MT" the font is now a free download just Googled it.. FYI Now working perfectly Thanks Cheers John Hyslop

Hi Andrew

Using Current Release QCAD 3.25.2 on 64bit Windows 10
I seem to have a problem with text disappearing when scrolling mouse wheel / zooming in and out?
Any ideas? Video attached: and dxf file... / testing a pattern...

That information I can guarantee is incorrect...
would you like a screen video capture of AutoCad reading in a 34 Character filename?
A string length of 38...

Hi CVH What Software uses 31? DO they use the same format? I know Revit is Close but the header would need changed to work.. Are you talking about AT PCs 486 with Math Coprocessors From way back... software that wouldn't run on PC's nowadays? :!: If you point me to it I'll update to max 31 to comply...
