Re: GCode-File

O.K. The added Linefeed was the first step. Now the file works, which means, that it works until the second toolchange. Obviously the machine only allows to have one "M6" order in the CAM-file. But there must be something wrong. I added two CAM-Files to this message. The first one (Rueckwand-Netzein...

Re: GCode-File

Hello Andrew, excuse me for being later than announced. I tried to build a file from your new Postprocessor (RemoteWIN). I could create a file, but that does not work. It gives an error message from the first line. I tried to ignore that line, but it returnes with new error messages every line. Afte...

Re: GCode-File

Hello Andrew,

thanks for the file. I did build a GCode-file. That works well and everything seems to be in place and format. But I did not try to run the file on my machine. I will do that today in the late afternoon/evening or tomorrow. Than I will give you a report.

Regards

Norbert

Re: GCode-File

Hello, as I mentioned in former messages, I do not have a perfect example file. Please have a look a the file attached. It's about to include everything needed but it requires some manual "repair": First of all, it is really unluckyly choosen, but ISEL requires an *.ISO extention. This forum does no...

Re: GCode-File

Another good news. Today I created another GCode-file with the RemoteWIN postprocessor under LinuxOS. It works!! There are still some traps (e.g the GCode G0 has to be followed by Exxx to define the fast movement speed, even if this is defined in the machine interface already), but I could solve the...

Re: GCode-File

Good idea. Now it works. Maybe something went wrong with the copy and paste action.

Thanks

Re: GCode-File

Excuse me, I did not state that clearly:

If I choose the postprocessor and than choose CAM-configuration, there is no possibility to get access to the field Filename. Even the button to choose a filename is accessible but nothing happens. Watch Screenshot.

Re: GCode-File

Well, all these reasons do not apply. I can open the file in RemoteWIN. I can start it in RemoteWIN. But RemoteWIN stops with erro at the first and every further line. Sily errors like "00" or "000" unknown. It doesn't make a differnce if I have inserted the missing "CR". And no, I'm not talking abo...

Re: GCode-File

That is true. I tried to find the problem but wasn't successful. The same to the guys from ISEL. The intersting fact is, that this is not a problem from QCAD/CAM. As mentioned before, I have the samt rouble with other CAD/CAM Software like FlatCAM. Obviousely nobody knows what happens with these fil...

Re: GCode-File

here are the files:

Rueckwand-Gleichspannung.nc is the one from WindowsOS that works
test-linux.nc is the one from LinuxOS that doesen't work

But I have to mention, that the original file from Linux was already deleted. Therefore I generated a new one. I did not attach the "CR" in this file.

Re: GCode-File

The postprocessor that worked is the same than under linux. I could not use G41/42 because that did not process the radius correction of the milling tool. Therefore I had to use Gcode offset (mm) . But again: The same postprocessor that generates a correct file under windows does not generate a corr...

Re: GCode-File

Excuse me, please. I thought I sent the info already, but I have a lot of problems with this forum. After a few minutes my loging is terminated, but there is no indication for that. When I send a message I'm requested to login, even if the corrct login name is shown on top of the display. When I log...

Re: GCode-File

thet doesen't work either. The same as the other selfmade file: The CAM-Config is accessible but not the path configuration, Filename etc. The tool-config (Drill, Mill) are also not accessible. But they can be configured in other postprocessors. RemoteWIN is obviously very special. Some things are h...

Re: GCode-File

Hello Andrew, than you very much for the quick reply. Unfortunately the RemoteWIN does not understand G41/42. Therefore RemoteWIN stops with Error. By the way, I have another question. Would it be possible to build a postprocessor that works completely with RemoteWIN? I have the complete list of ord...

GCode-File

Hello, I have a bit of trouble with GCode Files. Nornmaly I use QCAD/CAM under Ubuntu Linux. If I generate a GCODE File with QCAD/CAM (latest Version) I can not use it with my ISEL (RemoteWIN)Software. There is a problem with the endmarkers of ervery Line. RemoteWIN expects "CR/LF" at the end of eve...
