Re: aerodynamic profiles
Hi Andrew,
is there a function to connect two points by line or
convert two points into a line with the points as start- and endpoint of the line?

aerodynamic profiles
Hi Andrew, hi Clive, I use QCAD/CAM in most cases to produce g-code for parts needed to build model airplanes, like p. e. profiles. In the moment I have to go the way over other programs to draw aerodynamic profiles. Interesing thing would be a possibility to simply import an xy table. QCAD has so m...

impact radius of tabs
Hi Andrew, I experimented a little bit with tabs. Everything is ok when using tabs at pieces with great distance between lines (I don't know which one). Smaller work pieces (I attached my test object) have problems. The two tabs at the outer line are as well influencing the two inner lines. Did I mi...

crash QCAD/CAM v3.20
Hi Andrew, thank you very much for the new version. The option to set taps is very helpfull. Great work! I think you are intrested in a bug since that version (I'm not shure, maybe the version before). 1. load a file 2. close the file 3. load the same file again 4. click CAM Configuration -> 100% CP...

[solved] rectangle cutting inside
Hi Andrew, I created 2 rectangles by new:shapemenue:rectangle, please see appended image. I created a polyline out of both rectangles. The right one has an additional knot in the middle of the lower line. Now I created a toolpath for both to cut at the inner side. At the left rectangle has a cut int...

[solved] different meassures between LinuxCNC and QCAD
Sorry, I momentarily can't find my error. I create a circle in QCAD (its a polyline from another program) of diameter 27mm, please see appended image 01. Has to became o hole of that diameter size. I cut it inside with a tool of radius 1mm/diameter 2mm. To get a hole of 27mm I have to cut a circle o...

Re: cutter jumps at multipoint objects
Hi Husky,
thanks for your hints. With regrets I have to admit that there is no chance to change that dxf code. It comes from an older app named wingdesigner which is no more maintained. Thanks god QCAD can handle the errors verry well. In that way I can still use that app.

Re: cutter jumps at multipoint objects
Hi Andrew, I have to admit: QCAD is a great tool, I know no competitor at the moment. Thanks for your excellent support. Now I know that data quality is not always the best. A question: exploding - detecting zero length entities - deleting them - auto-create-polyline has to be done polyline by polyl...
