Re: Remove TRIAL window?
Seems like you've tried most, if not all of these tips. However, maybe you need to remove all versions of QCAD completely, then re-install the trial version, then try again to revert to community edition.

See: https://www.qcad.org/en/qcad-downloads-trial "If you are looking for the free open source QCAD Community Edition, you can download the trial version for your platform (see above) and then remove the QCAD Professional add-on running in trial mode (click Remove in the Trial widget and follow on s...

It could probably be done with ezdxf. https://ezdxf.mozman.at/pages/about.html

Re: How to print multiple Layout blocks to one PDF file
I don't know if command line printing to PDF would be another solution for you. Andrew added multi-page output to Dwg2Pdf for QCAD v3.22. Here's an example of a 3-page PDF export from Linux command line: /usr/share/httpd/opt/qcad-3.22.0-pro-linux-x86_64/dwg2pdf -platform offscreen -a -f -block="Layo...

Re: QCAD Pro Server on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Just for the record, we got this working this week. As suspected, it was not a QCAD problem, and required advanced configuration of the machine parameters including swap space. Here's a couple of links in case anyone else has to deal with similar issues. https://serverfault.com/questions/932544/ec2-...

QCAD Pro Server on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Software: QCAD Pro Server 3.22.0 on CentOS 7 I wanted to check if any of you have had experience hosting QCAD on AWS? If so, what machine parameters are key? Have been using QCAD+dwg2pdf on an old Dell Optiplex Pentium server on our internal network and it has worked reliably and fast enough with gr...
Re: Printing
Thanks to Andrew for also adding multiple sheet support in Dwg2Pdf for QCAD 3.22. Here's an example of a 3-page PDF export from Linux command line: /usr/share/httpd/opt/qcad-3.22.0-pro-linux-x86_64/dwg2pdf -platform offscreen -a -f -block="Layout2,Layout3,Layout4" -m 5 -l -p "ANSI C (431.8x558.8)" m...

Re: The future looks bright for QCAD -good news from Andrew
QCAD's future may have gotten even brighter this month. 3DS/DraftSight has released their first 2019 version and no longer provides a free edition. The 2018 and prior version free editions are to expire at the end of this year. Thanks for continuing to provide community editions as well as premium o...
Re: Printing
Dwg2pdf works great, yet I think that multi-page PDF is being requested. Last time I checked, dwg2pdf only produces single page output. (see my request at https://qcad.org/rsforum/viewtopic.php? ... 43&p=21509 ) Multi-page PDF can be assembled using other tools, such as pdftk.

Re: QCAD Server Installation
I'm late to this thread. FWIW, we use it on Linux CentOS 7 as part of an internal web service. So, I install it as "apache" as follows. I don't remember any dependencies I had to pre-install. sudo -u apache qcad-3.21.2-pro-linux-x86_64.run Here's an example command line call to build PDF: /usr/share...

Re: Multi-page output from dwg2pdf
Yes, we need multiple layouts/blocks printed on separate pages. Thanks for more sample code, yet you have already provided the ability to select a layout from dwg2pdf and yes, we use pdftk to assemble the pages. So the subject request is still not urgent, yet I'm always looking for ways to speed up ...

Re: Multi-page output from dwg2pdf
Thanks for adding this feature request. Dwg2pdf is still working well for us for single sheets, yet we still have need for multi-page output in a single PDF. Is there a way I could implement this myself with a script? I have reviewed https://www.ribbonsoft.com/doc/qcad/3.0/developer/_ex_pdf_export.h...

Re: dwg2pdf scaling to fit on Windows
A sample ANSI C Landscape drawing is attached that has the same results for me as reported 2018-02-01. Version 3.18.1 does a good scale to fit and 3.19 does not.

Re: dwg2pdf scaling to fit on Windows
I will try to get you a sample, but it may be next week before I can find or prepare a non-proprietary sample. I tested your "ANSI C Landscape.dxf" but modelspace scales OK and paperspace doesn't seem to be setup. For now, I can just report the following results using the same command line options o...

dwg2pdf scaling to fit on Windows
We've got a pilot working well of QCAD server on CentOS 7 and it is scaling pages as intended with the following command line: /usr/share/httpd/opt/qcad-3.18.1-pro-linux-x86_64/dwg2pdf -platform offscreen -a -f -block=*Paper_Space -m 2 -l -p "ANSI C (431.8x558.8)" "/var/www/html/Output/custom.dxf" I...
