Screen aspect ratio

I'm running 2.0.5.0 community edition from the debian repository, with a 1280x760 screen resolution. When I draw a circle, it looks like a tall oval on the screen. The aspect ratio ends up being about 1.33! The same thing happens with squares. Is there any way to adjust this? The monitor I'm using d...

Hatching percent fills

I'd like to know if anyone has created custom hatches that would produce even greyscale-like fills. Instead of a solid fill, I'd like to do a 10% grey, 50% grey, etc.

Has anyone already done this? If so, can you share the fill patterns for them?

After more messing around, I created a directory in /usr/local for qcad, copied the .tar.gz file there and unpacked it. I've can now run qcad as a desktop icon, but the hatch directory apparently isn't being found.
