No problems here. Everything is good and I am getting the output I expect.

Re: postprocessor outputing G41 code
CVH Back in 2019 Andrew was helping me develop a set of headers for my postprocessor. He gave me a block of code that listed the name and directory of the .dxf file in the gcode file. I am not sure who edited the GCodeBase.js code but the end result means the header info would be available to any po...

Re: postprocessor outputing G41 code
Andrew
Once again it looks like operator error. Too many files with the same name and something got over written..... So a deep dive into the archives might turn up the original..
Thanks
Jim

Re: Odd behavior from just one tool path
CVH Sorry about that, I must have been thinking (unusual activity) about the cutter dia. its 1/4 (actually mic's 0.240 6mm) MDF. Z is the top of the material. The router has a little wheel to set the speed with and I am guessing 18,000 and above. Eding CNC seems to be a Windoze only system and I try...

Re: Odd behavior from just one tool path
CVH The material is 1/4 (*) MDF and the cutter is a router bit. Parts are located by screws outside the finish size and one each at the centers of the large bores. Questions about the internal structure of the dxf are above my pay grade. I was curious about the single cam toolpath containing both al...

[Solved] Odd behavior from just one tool path
Andrew This model has one tool bath but is running both inside and outside during it. The model was edited several times and at one time, with two tool paths it did do 1) all inside cuts 2) another that did the outside cut. Don't know if this is a display problem or something wrong in the tool path....

Re: main window opens with bottom below screen
Husky, CVH
After closing the current Qcad session then deleting the .config/QCAD/QCAD3.ini file when I started up Qcad it came back to normal screen size.
Thanks much
