BLOCK DIMENSIONS CHANGE WHEN SCALED
I CREATED A NUMBER OF DETAILS AT VARIOUS SCALES WHEN PRINTED (3"=1'-0" OR 3/4" = 1'-0" ETC.), I ALSO CREATED A COMPOSITE DETAIL SHEET THAT WHEN PRINTED AT SCALE 1:1 WOULD SHOW THE DETAILS AT THE SAME SIZE WHEN I BROUGHT THEM IN AS BLOCKS FROM THE LIBRARY BROWSER. Semi-professional business?
The Architectural community that uses arch ticks (slashes) as the standard might take objection to your reference of them only being used in "semi-professional" business.

Block insertion when in block edit mode
It would be nice if I could insert a block from the drawing block list while in the block edit mode. As it is now, I can only insert a block from the library browser into an block while in block edit.

dfx from autoCAd
I find that it works fine if from the autocad program you do a save as and save it as a DFX 2004 format or older (dfx 2002 etc.). DFX format generally does not support xrefs, paper space and other advanced autocad stuff.

If I'm working in a file and create a block, can I save the block to some other location on my hard drive?
