Re: QCAD closes when attempting file save
Is that a 100% Qcad drawing?
Does that happen with a new drawing too?
Which instalation Paket (full file name) was used?
"Save" was used below Menu / File?
What is the exact drawing file name?

Re: QCAD closes when attempting file save
Hi, that is an unusual behavior and has nothing to do with trial or pro. To be on the save side please reset Qcad to the default settings: https://qcad.org/en/tutorial-resetting-the-qcad-configuration Then load and save the drawing again and tell us what happens. Btw - the drawing is not created by ...

1. Is there a icon in the existing professional version? Yes. Activate the toolbar for "Points" below: Menu/View/Toolbars and Widgets/Draw/Points Place the toolbar where it fits your workflow best. Btw: Instead space/commandline/command you could also use direct in an active Modelspace/GUI the shor...

Re: Very Strange Behavior - Corrupt DXF?
Hi,
I'm out of town why I can't check your dxf. Nevertheless knowing where the dxf came from I assume it has still 3D ballast. Try below Menu . Misc .. Modify .. Flatten Drawing to 2D and test the behaviour again.

Re: Calculate curve to make two curved panel fit together
Means what exactly? Metal? Wood? Styrofoam? Stripes welded / clued together for each of the 8 sites? What is the thickness of the material? Final shape? A real curve or a semi "curve" built out of straight segments?franksbedford wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 10:00 amI want the CNC cut panels to line up in a straight line.

Re: Included circle inside triangle
I tried using the circle three tangents tool, but I end up with two large circles outside the pitch line, or it failing to solve. Surely there is a method to create the included circle inside a triangle? Am I not using the correct tool? If the tool was this one ... https://qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/...
