Re: How to change default values in the CAM Profile Toolpath dialog?
Hello, thank you for those two links. A custom widget to edit these would be fantastic. In the mean time, I made a quick AHK script to cycle through all of the fields and throw in some default values. That file is attached if anyone wants to gander and tweak for their personal preferences. You'll ne...

Re: How to change default values in the CAM Profile Toolpath dialog?
Hello, Any update on this? I am not able to change offset side via this code inside my .js post processor file, and it looks like that is where this thread stopped... Code for default values in the Camprofiletoolpath dialog box starts at line 310 in the js file attached... ... // change default side...

Re: turn finite or bound geometry to infinite or unbound geometry
Wow. Thank you guys for the amount of work you both put into this. Next time you see me post something, give it a little less priority! I'm impressed with all of this, the .JS file is crazy! How do you do that? I like the store/use positions functions, this will come in handy for sure! Last, I've ne...

Re: turn finite or bound geometry to infinite or unbound geometry
Hi Husky, if this is possible to do already, awesome! how? I forgot to ask earlier if this is a feature that I just couldn't locate.... Hi CVH, I'm going to admit, it's pretty rare. The only example I can think of is when you are working on someone else's file, and there are say 50 diameters. I want...

Re: Import CSV tool table file
This is now an even lower priority. I just found the thread below about having DXF files in the post processor folder, that tie into the currently selected post processor. I'm going to try going this route for now, and may be better long term. Thank you. https://qcad.org/rsforum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t...

[Solved] turn finite or bound geometry to infinite or unbound geometry
Hello,
I could use an option to unbind finite geometry. Either you could describe it as making finite geometry infinite, or bound geometry unbound.
See screenshots below.
Thank you.

[Solved] Import CSV tool table file
Hello, I am running Qcad/Cam 3.27.8.0 on Windows 11, 64 bit. Does anyone know about proper formatting for the CSV file when trying to import a tool table file? This is under the CAM toolbar, Import tools. I notice that the export tools option does not allow to write to a CSV file, which is fine, but...

Re: Ordinate dimensions on a scaled DXF File
Hello CVH, you found that fast. Yes, the "linear measurement factor" is being set to 2 for ordinate dimensions. I can select all dims and change this to 1 in the property editor. This works. Yes, I love the new origin feature for ordinate dimensions. That way I can have a zero corner on all of the d...

[Solved] Ordinate dimensions on a scaled DXF File
Hello, I'm having issues with ordinate dimensions on a DXF file that is not scale 1:1. Running on Windows 10 Qcad/Cam Pro V 3.27.1.0 Here is my scenario; Step 1; Import CAD file "ScaleTest1142022.DXF" which is scaled at 1:2 from the previous software (Solidworks). Step 2; Clean up file, scale up to ...

Hello,
Looks like I forgot about this one. It is solved.
Thank you CVH! Both of your recommendations work well!
Navigation is then with the '<' and '>' key.
The order can be made visible with View .. Overlay .. Order (VO)
Thank you.

Hello,
When placing ordinate dimensions, is it possible to have a negative value shown?
Please see PDF for reference.

G-Code import (backplot) function (Solved)
I love having the G-code import (backplot) function at such an affordable price. I use it all the time. Would you consider an option to backplot NC files line by line? You could have forward/ backward buttons to navigate each line of code. Just a thought. Thank you. Windows 10, 64 bit QCad/Cam 3.26.2
