FS#1839 - Lost in migration
Hi Andrew,
I am trying to ‘HP pen plotter’ a test file, created by AutoCAD 10.
Saving the in QCAD loaded file goes fine. However, the tool table is empty now.
Trying to make a new tool 1 Errors it exists already but does not show up in the tool table.
What do I miss?

File format limitations
Here's what I _think_ might have happened:
- AutoCAD 10 file was loaded in QCAD/CAM.
- Tools were added
- File was saved as AutoCAD Version 10 file. This file format version does not support custom properties which means all tool information was lost at this point. The tool blocks were saved, but without their various properties, the tool block names are all capitals which might also cause problems. You should have also received a warning when saving under that format.
To fix:
- Load the file in QCAD/CAM
- View > Block List
- Delete all blocks with names starting with "CAMTOOL"
